Although New Mexico has long been a favorite location for filmmakers, because of its wide variety of scenic locations, it has recently emerged as one of the fastest-growing centers for the Film Industry. In order to entice film artists, New Mexico offers some of the most competitive tax rebates in the country. Up until now, equipment for shooting at these scenic locations has been a challenge.

Know Us
David Wheeler
David Wheeler has been working in the field of pro audio for 35 years. After completing his education at Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts in Orlando, Florida, he moved to Los Angeles where he worked in professional recording studios and film production. After moving back to New Mexico in 1997, David opened Studio 603, a full-service recording studio, providing audio recording and sound posting for film. In 2019, David started 603 Productions, dedicated to providing industry-standard rental grip, lighting, and audio equipment.
Aron Hethcox
Aron Hethcox was born and raised in New Mexico. In 2007, Aron was introduced to the film industry, where he met Dave Wheeler and started to work as a Boom Operator. From there, Dave and Aron continued to work in the film industry, providing audio services throughout New Mexico and West Texas. In 2011, Aron started directing commercials, short films and music videos. In 2019, Dave and Aron began to incorporate film equipment/grip rentals into their business through 603 Productions.
